The Go-To Trainer for Amplifying Business Presentations

As a seasoned Presentation Consultant and Brand Specialist, she also brings a multifaceted approach to her work, leveraging her skills to instil confidence and excellence in her clients’ presentations. Furthermore, her background as an International Speaker adds another dimension to her services, allowing her to impart not just technical know-how but also invaluable insights into the nuances of effective communication in today’s globalised business landscape.

With an impressive clientele that includes esteemed names such as Gas Networks Ireland, ISME, and IDA Ireland, Fiona has solidified her reputation as the go-to trainer for Irish businesses seeking to amplify their message through compelling presentations.

Flexibility and Being the Boss

When asked about the perks of being a business owner, Fiona mentions the flexibility, which can be particularly helpful when you are a parent as there are low to no childcare costs as this removes what could be a huge overhead when starting a business. Also, you don’t have to ask anyone for time off – because you’re the boss!

It was also interesting to hear Fiona say that young entrepreneurs shouldn’t take criticism from people they wouldn’t ask advice from. And since starting out, she has found that the best advice usually comes from those who have a similar client base to you and whose experience is relevant to your sector.

Be Organised – Particularly With the Finances

When asked about the disciplines that have helped her in business that she has carried over from her personal life, Fiona explains that she’s a very organised person, which was essential when keeping on top of the financial aspects of Empower Presentations. Also, she advises those that are starting out to keep track of all their financial details – and get a good accountant!
